and myself went over but

the rain prevented our

hearing the sermon.

the report that Gen Lyon

is killed seems to be

confirmed.

B. Brubaker may perhaps be William A. Brubaker, 1834-1917, of Co. H. Enlisted June 1861. Absent sick October 1861- January 1862. To Sergeant February 1862. AWOL April 1862 and reduced to ranks.
