I was on guard last
night I came near
freeseing my feete for
it was awfull cold
and we had no fire
to day is very cold
and the boys keepe close
to the fire we had
Batalion drill and the
boys did not do right
some times and then
the Liewtenant Colonel
wou[ld] cuss for surtain
we had lots of fun
the boys part of them
would not go out
they came near
going in the guard house
we had rosted potatoes for super.
